Mike Ellis has done some cool stuff with the 3,800 institution data records from the 24 Hour Museum. He writes about was he has done in deatil on his blog
but basically it is an experiment in a quick and dirty mash. The end result is an odd mixture of stuff that for me is not really focussed for users but begins to explore some good ideas. In particular the mix of official and UGC content, the side by side approach to what are actually different levels of content and the strange serendipity of Flickr.

My praise goes to him for experimenting and for sharing his experiments, it is easy to see how you could make this better now he has something working live, but without that, this kind of stuff often seems difficult to imagaine.
